Indian national high school model united nations has instituted a policy requiring a letter of authenticity from each international school participating in the conference. A school is considered to be ‘international’ when it is located outside of the India, or when the delegation of students must travel from outside of India to attend the
IHSMUN conference in Indore City.
A letter of authenticity must be written on school letterhead and must be signed by the
principal/headmaster of each school participating in the conference. The following
information should be included in each letter:
- Principal/headmaster contact information (including phone numbers)
- Street address of the school
- Number of delegates planning to attend IHSMUN
- Name(s) and phone number(s) of faculty advisors chaperoning students at IHSMUN
Though it is an additional work, but it is a necessity considering your safety.
The letter of
authenticity is compulsory for international schools traveling into India
and registration is not considered complete until letters are received by the Secretary General.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
All letters must be received by the Secretary-General on or before January 25th
in order to ensure registration is completed. Letters can be emailed in pdf form to sec.gen@ihsmun.org
or mailed to:
